Amy Sweat comes from a performance background and has travelled the world fronting bands, studying and teaching dance near and far. Amy draws on all this and more, in addition to applying the principles of Pilates to her workouts.
A realistic approach to fitness with a strong focus on health and well-being is Amy’s jam. Like, AWF, Amy aims to create a community and culture within classes. She wants people to enjoy regular exercise without pressure in a fun, intimate group environment. The main objective to feel great in your everyday clothes!
Session with Amy combines traditional modes of group fitness classes with light weights (or body weight) and mat Pilates work. Each and every movement is designed to help build a strong dancers body without long term injuries and help rehabilitate existing ones.
Overall, Amy loves to create a fitness atmosphere more like a party than a punish!
